Tom Pham
Tom has more than 16 years of experience in IT management performing systems analysis, designing functional specifications, and implementing small- to large-scale IT projects.
In his previous roles as head of Technical Support, Network Management, and IT Management, Tom has been responsible for the development and maintenance of efficient and effective information systems, network availability and security, systems monitoring, upgrade, and backup, and application and operating system software.
Tom has also managed technical staff and customer training and is experienced in project management as a system analyst, system designer, and project manager using MS Project Manager, SharePoint server, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.
Tom has designed, developed, worked on, managed these technologies:
- Networking: LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, and network security (design and best practices; intrusion detection, and prevention systems). Designing, implementing, and supporting networks with Cisco routers, switches, and Checkpoint firewalls, and more
- Software: Windows 2000/2003, Active Directory, IIS, Linux, Apache, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP, postfix, Dynamics Financial Application, SQL 2000 server, C++, Visual Basic, .Net, Visual SourceSafe, and more
- Applications: Design, develop, test, and implement integration applications between EDI, accounting / financial, and warehouse application programs to increase operational efficiencies. Analyze and design Decision Support Systems using Cognos BI and Crystal reports to support business decision-making
